Overview

Imagine an evening where composers respond to one another as in a correspondence: a romance like a confidance, a scherzo like a smile, an andante like a confession. Clara and Robert Schumann open the circle, soon joined by Brahms, Chopin, Fauré…

Selected movements, intimate pieces: each piece feels like a letter slipped into an envelope. In them, we hear tenderness, doubt, passion, light — everything that Romanticism can express without words. A delicate and lively programme, like a heart-to-heart exchange.
